Bombay Rock is the name of the newest nightclub in Townsville, and I love it so dearly! In an earlier post, I mentioned the opening night, where Rell and I went to see the Butterfly Effect. Cruising the site today, I see that the Butterfly Effect are scheduled to play again, for the club’s christmas party I very nearly orgasmed when I saw the lineup for that event! There’s TBE as the main event, as well as Japunga, Merlin’s Traffic and Melodyssey… all awesome QLD bands that deserve some serious respect.

Before the Christmas gig however, Bombay Rock are hosting Shihad, on 17th November, John Butler Trio on 7th december and various other bands that I’ve yet to care about.

The best part of all of this however, and the reason I love the club so much is that tickets are only $23.30 for ANYTHING! (internet price, I think it’s about $30 if you buy at the door.)

As a side note before I finish,

• I got my car back, it’s beautiful! and mum asked me if I want to sell it. If I can get at least $7k for it I’ll think about it, but any less than that and I’m keeping it!
• I dreamt about work last night… it sucked! the most interesting part of the dream was where I freaked out coz there were spiders everywhere… not fun, but interesting.
• I had to take out my surface piercing because it was starting to embed
